Welcome to Zephyr Homeloans and thank you for choosing one of our mortgages via your broker. We aim to provide you with a high standard of service and hope that your mortgage continues to meet your needs now and in the future.

Making Your Monthly Payment

It is a condition of our mortgages that you make your monthly payments from a nominated bank account via Direct Debit.

You will have confirmed your account details and payment date on the Direct Debit Mandate form that you signed as part of the application process for your mortgage.

If you would like to change your Direct Debit details, please download a Direct Debit Mandate form, complete the necessary information and post this to:

Alternatively, please contact us if you would like us to send you a paper version of the form.

When writing to us, please ensure you include details of your mortgage account number and the date from which you want the change to become effective. Once we have processed your request, we will write back to you to confirm that this has been completed.

Making an Overpayment

All of our mortgages include the ability to make regular or one-off overpayments to reduce your mortgage balance and therefore the interest you are charged over the term of your loan.

Please note – any overpayment permanently reduces the capital balance of your mortgage and this amount cannot be drawn back. You may repay up to 10% of your outstanding balance each year without incurring an Early Repayment Charge. Please refer to your Mortgage Offer for more details.

Change Your Name or Address

To change your name or correspondence address details, please contact us and we will take you through the process.

Grant Third Party Authority

To enable a third party (such as a family member or new mortgage broker) to discuss your mortgage account, please complete and sign the Third Party Authority form and return it to :

Apply for a Transfer of Equity

If you are changing the legal ownership of your property (adding or removing someone from the mortgage), such as for business reasons or due to marriage/divorce, you can complete a Transfer of Equity. Before we accept a Transfer of Equity application we’ll need to make sure that the change meets our lending criteria.

There is a £155 fee for adding or removing a party from the mortgage. This must be paid upfront and is non-refundable.

A Transfer of Equity is a complex process that will often require a solicitor. Please contact us in the first instance to discuss your requirements.
